The show was pretty good imo, the first two episodes seem to make you very confused about what you're watching, and there's cgi animation for the performances at first but after the 3rd episode, I finished all 7 eps that were out at the time, in one day because it picks up pace well, the music is really good if you like some energetic stuff. The first episode was just an introduction of all the characters and their singing groups, which really leaves you with a lot of questions about what is even happening. The good music was enough for me to see what the next episode was about, where a little plot is revealed, but if you were looking for the plot, like a lot of people, you will be highly disappointed because there is very little plot which is mostly about guiltia and ange's past. The rest of the characters could have gotten more of a backstory instead of like one or half an episode per character, because I feel like I barely know the characters. I just know enough to know their motivations, and what they did wrong in the past which I must say, isn't quite enough. Im almost finished with the show, and finally when I can feel more personalities in everyone, im halfway through the second to last episode. Given the ratings, I doubt there will be a season 2, but if there is, I would love to see more story and less music so I at least know what to feel towards who. Also, there is a LOT of scenes where you start to question if it's a bl series lmao, but i think this show would be better off as a bl as you would get a lot more story developing their relationships. Everyone just leans in close near each other's faces only to show it's a hug or whatever, that was kinda interesting. The potential for romance is there, I think they should take advantage of it, a lot more people would watch it if it were a bl. Anyway, I saw a lot of comments that it was "cringe" when the mc started singing, like dude the entire show is about music. Why watch a show about music if you don't want the characters to sing, the show is like 65% music and nothing else. I was just vibing to the songs, there's good character development sometimes, tho it feels a little rushed, I could feel sympathy for the characters during certain scenes. I really like the art style and character designs too, they're very beautiful to look at and you can tell they spent enough time on them, both in animation and in concept. I really love guiltia and saga's designs they're so good to look at. Hyde and Dimitri's designs are so detailed I didnt expect it to look anything close to the poster but damn I was kinda surprised by how they pulled it off. This show is more like eye candy than it is story-driven because overall the plot is pretty generic ig, sometimes you're just waiting for something to happen but in the end, it's good to pass the time. If you like to watch pretty boys sing while having some closet gay energy on the side, this show might pique your interest.
