Eren and his companions in the 104th are assigned to the newly-formed Levi Squad, whose assignment is
to keep Eren and Historia safe given Eren's newly-discovered power and Historia's knowledge and
pedigree. Levi and Erwin have good reason to be concerned, because the priest of the Church that Hanji
had hidden away was found tortured to death, making it clear that the Military Police are involved
with the cover-up. Things get more harrowing when the MPs make a move on Erwin and the Levi Squad
narrowly avoids capture. Eren is also having problems with his Titan transformation, and a deadly
killer has been hired to secure Eren and Historia, one Levi knows all too well from his youth.

So...I’m reviewing this a lot sooner than I expected. As some of you may know, Attack on Titan Season 3 was originally billed as a two-cour season, similar to the first season which premiered way back in 2013. However, following episode twelve, it was revealed that the season would be split cour, with the second half set to air in Spring of 2019. This review should have come sooner, but I’m having trouble typing since I’m suffering nasty from Titan-Slaying withdrawal. Attack on Titan is going to be a hard show for me to review, because I love it so much to the point where I’m _sure_ the show really isn’t _that_ good, but the hype gets me pumped so much that I can see no wrong and I’ll be screaming “Sasageyo!” as Mikasa cuts the nape or achilles heel of some giant titan. I like to call this Shounen Hype Syndrome. It’s the same thing that made me see DBS as absolutely amazing even though looking back, it had quite a few rough spots. So yeah, a bit of bias, no problem though. After the the jaw-droppingly awesome second season, I feel that season three (or rather, this half of season three), dialed it back a bit, but I still think it was a bit better than the first season. The stakes were still high, the revelations weren’t as insane as the second season’s but still great, and the fights were as great as ever. While Titan Eren wasn’t utilized that much, it’s a bit of a refresher because it shows that Attack on Titan can still have marvelous fights while not relying too much on Titan vs. Titan. I’ve been told that Attack on Titan has a distinct shift where it starts being more of a thriller and human vs. human as opposed to the bleak Man vs. Nature conflict of the beginning of the first season. I can kind of see it here: the first antagonist of the season is Kenny the Ripper - an infamous serial killer who, along with his task force, is tasked with taking out the scouts who are caught up in a smear campaign. The fact that their equivalent of the ODM gear is specifically made to fight humans instead of Titans drives this point home. While I can start seeing the series shifting, it feels naturally and doesn’t seem like it betrays what makes AoT what it is. If you loved season 1 and 2, you’ll love 3. (You probably won’t love the opening though, that’s just bad. Here’s to hoping they change it for the next cour.) In general, backstories seem to be the focal point of season three so far. I personally think they’re handled well. I was more invested in these backstories than Ymir’s in season two, even though I acknowledge that her’s was really important to the plot. They just seem to compliment the present action very well. One thing that I took notice of was that the main trio was out of focus, a bit. Naturally, Eren got the most screen time of the three, but Mikasa and Armin seemed just like they were warming the bench. I hope they’re up to bat in the second cour. Though, this isn’t too much of a problem - AoT has a large cast of characters and I cared about them now more than ever. Episodes were still fast-paced and were over in the blink of an eye, making me want more and then lamenting that I had to wait a week for the next episode. While, again, the action and revelations weren’t as good as season 2, this season was amazing in its own right. Production is still top-notch. Characters look great and action is fluid. It’s part of the reason that I’m not that upset over the hiatus. As they say, it’s not easy being beautiful, and if it takes half a year for Wit Studio to give us more quality episodes, I will wait. An amazing season, animation and story wise. This is where things get real good.
[**_(SPOILER AHEAD)_ STORY:**]()
This season focuses on learning the secrets of the monarchy that rules over the area within the walls.
All of the secrets hidden from us, and even the citizens inside the show are all coming loose. This
season was honestly so good, my 2nd favourite to be honest.
The way they handled the story and the animation was phenomenal.
A lot of things happen this season, we don't get to see a lot of Titan fighting but thats because we
know that the real enemy is other people. The Kenny squad is equipped with shotguns with what seems to
be updated version of the maneuver gear built into them. This adds such a new and great dynamic into
the combat scenes.
After all of the amazing fighting between the Survery Corps and Kenny Squad we are greeted with the
Royal Family (The Reiss Family). They are the true kings of the world. Meaning that Krista (which we
learned her real name is Historia Reiss) is the true queen of the world, that is after defeating her
angered dad. I said angered because she refused to take part in the ceremony of injecting the fluid
and eating the carrier of the Titan Eren has, she saved him and therefor her father sucked up the
juices of the Titan on the floor and became the biggest Titan we have seen.
Near the end of the season we are greeted with Keith, the lad who was training Eren and the rest in
Season 1. He knows more than he leads on to. He wanted to protect Eren that's why Eren's gear didn't
work during the test in Season 1. I honestly loved all of that, all of the little plot twists which
seemed like nothing important at first but then built up gradually to unveil such a massive story.
This season originally was supposed to be two cour but the second part was delayed, which yes at the
time I was really impatient and wanted the second half now I am glad they took their time cause Part 2
is 10000x more intense. Get Excited!

[**CHARACTERS:**]()
The characters matured quite a lot during the span of the season.
Not only that their appearance changed slightly but also their lil quirks.
Of course they still are the same ol' characters we fell in love with in Season 1 but they are much
more serious now.
I won't be talking much about the already existing characters such as Levi and Mikasa but instead will
be focusing on the new major ones, I also already talked about the changes that happened to Keith and
Krista in the previous section so I won't go over them again here. Sorry lads.
First up is Kenny. He is the one who took care of Levi when he was younger. His fighting style is
similar that to Levi's (go figure). His character seems much more playful, I suppose, though he is
quite serious about his job (which is to eliminate the Survey Corps). He also knows quite a few
secrets from the past about the Royal Blood.
Flagel Reeves, he is the son of Dimo Reeves. After the assassination of his father due to the
betrayal. Flegel has been huge help to Survery Corps, with not only getting their plans to go smoothly
but also few other things.
We also get a lil sneek peek at the back story of Grisha (the father of Eren).

[**ART/ANIMATION:**]()
The animation of the previous two seasons was great, but this season takes it up to 11.
The smooth motions between each frame and each movement in combat is so well done that I honestly
rewatched each and every one of these scenes hundreds of times. My favourite scene out of this whole
season has to be the one near the start, the chase between Levi and Kenny Squad.
The art style also got a new coat of paint, it looks much more realistic-ish, which is also a nice
change, it adds to the combat just that much more due to the detail.

Shingeki no Kyojin has an amazing OST everytime, this goes without saying.
This Season is no different, the intense music during the all scale fights were adrenaline inducing,
the calm tracks which appeared in the resting areas of the show where amazing at getting that
adrenaline out and make you calm before it kicked you in the gut with more fights so well done it
should be a crime.

Season 3 Part 1 is amazing, not only the animation and OST but also the story.
All of the lies and facades are crumbling down from the old kings, the truth is being exposed to
everyone.
I honestly had so many moments during this season where I had to pause and appreciate the amazing
writing of this series.
Part 2 tho, oh lawd. That just takes it up to another level. Get Excited!
AoT Season 3 (part 1 and 2) review: Historia has no consistent character motivation. But it's not that, she is inconsistent with her inconsistency. So, if the plot needs her to have a certain motivation, she will be given that because "it will make the story more logical and progress". On the contrary, the unique idea that Eren posses the memories of other titans through the ritual, why was this not hinted towards earlier? A missed opportunity to make it an "AHA!" moment instead of "what?" And that's where I get fatigued with this anime. In this season of AoT there are no "AHA!" moments but moments where the story SHOCKS you with some information that we have no idea about, that we have no emotional stake in and expects us to care. The first instance of this is the Armored and Colossal titan revealing themselves. That could have been a huge "AHA" moment. You have these two characters people have latched onto emotionally and maybe even fan favorites, yet it leaves us with more questions than answers. And you can tell that the writers aren't even sure of what they are doing with the dialogue and so the voice actors have no motivation for the lines. Then, before anyone can think, you have this intense action which leads to a rescue scene which leads to THE MOST IMPORTANT death in the show, and yet we have no idea why anything is happening. If you alienate your audience from the plot, the audience does not know who to cheer for. The rate at which it introduces new subplots and worldbuilding just to confirm or deny them leaves me with whiplash. If you keep introducing new information about titans, bloodlines, government, complex characters that show up out of nowhere, you lose the groundedness of a show where I can be emotionally invested. All these ideas are cool, but the execution was lackluster. Yet another moment in anime where I sigh and say, "cool concept/story idea/plot twist, but horrible execution." Bystander was an amazing episode. It somehow managed to inform/catch up the audince, resolve questions about Eren's timeline and give the characters motivation in a clear, consise way. It takes 1 or 2 elements, and focuses in on those plot points to deliver a fantastic episode. Night of the Battle to Retake the Wall - what an amazing episode! Perfect culmination of all the emotions and all to set a single goal - to drive out the titans. The moment shared between Armin, Mikasa and Eren where they talked about how somethings can never go back to normal was beautiful. And the send off that the people cave to the scouts was also super heartwarming. 10/10 "The Town Where Everything Began" and onward is a true RETURN TO FORM for the series! Coming back to where it all started. Absolutely great flashback episodes that clearly explain the lore in a way that provokes DRAMA and TENSION! And before that, when Levi has to decide who to save WOW that is some seriously good writting and drama. The series finally shows Eren changing, evolving, after coming face to face with who he is and what he is. Mikasa smiles, Armin finally sees beyond the wall, but Eren knows what is coming, and he can never go back to being ignorant anymore about what has happened and what he must do. Amazing ending, AoT s3 stuck it's landing. I think the last few episodes where the best AoT I have seen, however the road to getting here was full of the worst and most boring, drawn out, exposition dumping episodes. I'm so glad they found a way to draw me back into the show in part two of s3!
____ #~~~__Attack on Titan Season 3: Review by Seushe__~~~ ____ _*my first review, apologies for any mistakes made. Spoiler warning._ Attack on Titan, thus far, had brought some of the most exciting experiences in anime and was already considered a great show. What could possibly top the Reiner / Bertholdt reveal and everything else in the second season, with its ambitious statement of 'This show is something special'? Wit Studio not only ups the ante with Season 3, but eclipses it and sets the path for Attack on Titan to venture into masterpiece territory. This season's story kicks off tense, nerve-wracking, and holds you in all the way. Right from the get-go, the new Levi Squad is forced into hiding and the Scout Regiment is suddenly cornered, fighting not titans anymore, but now fellow humans. A word I want to use to describe the first half of this season very closely is _suspense_. The scouts, and we the audience, don't know who the enemy is. Every episode we follow their story, as it slowly unveils to us the tragic selfishness of human leaders behind the walls, which itself is only the first layer of the bigger picture as a whole. Attack on Titan does wonders in keeping so much information from the audience and revealing it only when absolutely necessary, which brings viewers into an experience that will leave you astounded when major reveals and events happen. My only complaint, although mild, is with the latter half of the story, as it does slow down a little once Rod Reiss' titan is vanquished and the conflict appears to have been resolved - a bit too early in the season, in my opinion. Despite this, I still value the episodes following that give us insight into the backstories of Kenny, and later Commander Keith Shadis, and the latter's relation to Eren. It was good exploration into what otherwise seemed a trivial coincidence, showing the result of a man who did not take his chance and was not 'chosen' to be 'great'. The characters explored in this season drastically expand this show's universe, allowing it to be more diverse in substance from its predecessors and offers viewers a deeper look into human nature. In this context, we get to see the motivations, backstories, and just explore in general so many characters in the cast; Erwin, Levi and Kenny, Historia, Eren to name the main few. How they interacted in the past and present is also shown to us in exposition done very well, shedding light on the otherwise cloudy universe of Attack on Titan. It goes without saying that this keeps us invested in these characters, wanting to know who will end up where at the end of all this political and titan turmoil. The animation and sound production in this season is some of my favourite in all of anime, in short. Wit Studio continued to go all-out, giving viewers a stunning display of crisp, beautiful and clean animation throughout. Accompanied by the earth-shaking soundtrack of Hiroyuki Sawano, the atmosphere in Season 3 continues AoT tradition of nothing short of incredible, this time with suspense at its core. You could rewatch this season and still be completely blown away whenever the track builds up, the subtle but defined violin strings adding to the chill in your spine during tense moments, and the myriad of grand, incredible music accompanying the rest of the show. To summarize, I felt unworthy of watching this incredible production for free. Taking a step back, I would like to dedicate some time in regards to this Season's OP and ED. _Red Swan_ completely diverts from the series' usual Linked Horizon formula of the epic, triumphant sounds of _Guren no Yumiya_ and _Shinzou wo Sasageyo_, instead delighting us with a heartfelt masterpiece. The visuals and lyrics convey such meaningful emphasis on the characters' beginnings and hopes for the future all packaged in 1 minute and 30 seconds nothing short of perfection. It is for this reason, and much more in-depth analysis I will not go into here, that I believe that _Red Swan_ is Attack on Titan's best opening sequence. The ending sequence, _Akatsuki no Requiem_, is great in its own right too; with substantial meaning in its visuals and reaffirming, at this point humanity's, motto of 'Dedicate your hearts!'. In conclusion, Attack on Titan Season 3 brings all its cards to the table, ready to pull in the viewer and pushes the series to new heights. The core messages of this season; trust, courage, and faith among others are driven home in a jaw-dropping manner I am sure to never forget, and this show is an experience you do not want to miss. ____
Hello Again, Apologies if these reviews become shorter or less interesting but I only discovered this website recently so I'm ranking and reviewing Anime's that I watched months ago all at once, even my start and end dates are likely wrong, the general order is correct but it shows i finished some in a very suspicious amount of time, forgive me as well if i forget major plot points or don't discuss some parts of the seasons, hell i might even mix the two season 3 parts up a bit so please bare with. That being said lets crack on, Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 1, from here on out everything was new to me in 2021 ( check previous reviews to understand) so i was very excited to see how Attack on Titan had continued on since i last saw it and boy was i in for a surprise. To be honest there were some points during this Season i got a bit confused, this didn't affect my overall enjoyment but it should be said, i think the whole Historia situation mainly confused me just as i still was thinking of her as Christa. The entire season however was absolutely amazing, we got arguably the best Levi moment against Kenny's Squad, a character who may have come out of the shadows but made an everlasting impact on the entire story, not only did we get to learn more about Levi and how he was raised, but Kenny's role in this Season led to our beloved characters getting proper HUMAN blood on their hands and boy does it change the atmosphere, to suddenly go from weird naked human titans being killed to their fellow humans it definitely changes their character arcs and makes the situation a lot more scary as these are smaller, more agile targets who are likely as trained and skilled as they are. Believe me when i say that this entire situation is amazing and a reason why i love this season so much. We also have the development in Eren's story, learning about his Dads titan power and the Reiss family's secrets that control the people of the walls. Just more amazing story expansion that was beautifully set up by Season 2. Also the entire crystal cave environment was a perfectly crafted area that really shows the beauty of anime and is one of my favourite areas. Other than that there is obviously the actual government parts, putting the survey corps on a wanted list was a major turning point that you would never expect, considering that this is supposedly the last of humanity, to make the group who strive to secure humanity's future fugitives shows the corruption of the government and as the series develops, we begin to question the truth of the lives they lead. New characters such as Marlo and Hitch were a pleasant surprise and both of them are quite enjoyable to watch, especially interacting with one another. The actual overthrowing of the government was a great plan as well and had me hyped seeing them realize they had been tricked was pure satisfaction. What else happened? I just looked up when Hannes died, turned out that was Season 2 damn i missed that entire Coordinate part for my review, whoops. I'll cover it now i guess. The importance of Eren's titan powers were always assumed to be the fact that he fought for humanities future, but seeing that other titan shifters are actively searching for him and the power he holds suggests that he is even more important than expected, and to see the brief control he suddenly has over titans completely caught me off guard and also makes Eren even more valuable but dangerous. I realise i haven't done character reviews for each Season but ill save that for Season 4 and give a proper review of their entire Arcs. The Hayime Isayama written series ‘Attack on Titan’, even from an outsider’s perspective, has been an incredibly fascinating and alluring view since it started airing in 2013. Even though I wasn’t a massive fan of the series’ first two seasons, the cumulative power and magnitude of the series, whether the series maintained the fanbase created when the series first aired or not, was captivating at worst. Especially so when the third season aired. There was a magnificent aura around the season, people were even calling it a modern classic. And even as someone who wasn’t very interested in the series, it did spark my interest and made me rewatch the first two seasons to gain a new perspective. And while I was surprised, both positively and negatively, it wasn’t exactly what I came for. So going into the third season, my expectations lay somewhere around Tarkovsky’s ‘Stalker’, whether intentionally or not. And now that I’ve finished the series, and have had a few weeks to think over my experience, I still find the series to be hard to wrap my head around, one that I’m not sure how I feel about. I’ve had difficulties writing about the series because of how lost I felt. It’s a statement that is usually given to media that really boggles the mind and hits on a level deeper than the surface, but now I’m not so sure. Season 3 continues where season 2 leaves off, and Eren and his squad are assigned with Levi to protect Eren and Historia, seeing as they hold knowledge and power that might be important for the scout Survey Corps to keep in control of, as we see the system of the walls tumble in on itself and the different regiments are revealed to be opposing forces who are nothing but in agreement with each other. This concept is one I find very interesting, especially since having read ‘Animal Farm’ and finding political narratives more intriguing than ever. The scene where the military takes over the government was refreshing after having felt disappointed with the series for a while, and I think it gave me the energy to finally feel excited about this world again. But a theme is going to be established here, as I’m still not sure how to feel about this section of the series. None of it was bad, yet I wasn’t as excited as I maybe wanted to be. Maybe the energy was lost somewhere between seasons 1 and 2. And this was my experience with most of part 1 of the series, not really finding a conclusion to argue for. There were a lot of interesting elements and pieces, like the fight with Rod Reiss’ titan and learning more of the history between the characters, yet something about the series still didn’t feel as well put together as the first season. The aura was still there, but something else was lost. And continuing onto part 2 of the season, I’d like to think it got better. You know, the episodes inside of wall maria are admittedly pretty fucking fire. Levi, he killed a lot of titans, pretty crazy stuff. And being serious, the 16th episode of season 3, ‘Perfect Game’ is in all honesty probably the best episode in the series thus far. If there is anyone who would be able to radicalize me into the far-right then it would be Erwin telling me to die for my country and the memory of the fallen. The beast titan threw pellets and hit like a bell tower that made a cool noise and I liked that. It is not only cool but also good. And any descriptive words used before and after this segment that may come off as negative are not directed at episodes 16 to 18 in it themselves. But still, there is a sense of numbness after having thought through the series. By the end of episode 19, 199 soldiers have died and 90% of our main cast is intact. If I’m supposed to think of these episodes in the context of the narrative they are in, then having a massacre only affect a major side character isn’t very convincing. And I get that Armin sacrificed himself, but he was revived the second he was able to. It’s probably the reason why ‘Perfect Game’ is such a good episode because it is the episode where a sacrifice is felt and is still being so. And even after this point, I’m still not sure how to feel about this series. I get that you want to make an allegory to minorities and the oppression they go through often, which is generally a good thing, but having it be treated dangerously similar to Bright is alarming. And while I’m not sure if this allegory is the point of the series, it’s certainly something to think about. I’m not sure if this is a review or an admission of defeat. I need to move on honestly, fuck. Let’s leave it like this, I’m excited for season 4 partly because I think the poster looks cool. This one is like a seven probably, maybe too high for my general tone throughout this text, but whatever it was good.

Eu mencionei um pouco sobre como a humanidade sempre consegue dar um jeito de ficar contra si mesma em um período extremamente atípico e em um momento em que a união faz a força. Não há tempo para se perder com intrigas, mas... não é como se fosse tão fácil assim. Essa primeira parte da terceira temporada, parece que não tem nada a ver com as primeiras, mas na verdade tudo se conecta. Attack on Titan sempre te vendeu uma mensagem de "Titãs Vs Humanos", mas na maior parte do tempo, se parar para pensar os humanos estão sempre gladiando entre si por diversos motivos, vai de bem material, desigualdade social ou por interesses próprios. Eu sinto como se o Isayama estivesse a todo momento nos passar uma mensagem de que no final, nós, seres humanos somos podres e pensamos em nós mesmos e tentamos ignorar coisas mais importantes. Basicamente, no contexto da obra, eles precisam a todo custo descobrir sobre a verdade da humanidade, das muralhas, mas tem um grupo de pessoas, "a nobreza" que prefere fingir que não há problemas algum e que estarão a salvos na muralha. E isso leva para o lado sobre religião e crença em Attack on Titan que já falei em uma outra análise. Uma outra alusão é o fato do governo ser uma das coisas mais podres que existe. Enquanto no submundo há gente passando fome, doentes, com a mobilidade fraca, sem conseguir se mexer, na capital está todos os grandes poderosos usufruindo de alimentos exarcebados. O fato do Rei ser apenas um velho aleatório que por todos aqueles anos estava enganando a população cegamente, é algo triste e te faz pensar nisso. O golpe militar nessa obra nos mostra que foi a única opção de conseguir mudar algo, pois, de alguma forma, todos estão envolvidos. Quero mencionar a personagem incrível que foi a Historia Reiss nessa temporada. Estou amando personagens que não imaginava gostar tanto assim. O desenvolvimento que ela teve é surreal. Até a temporada passada, vimos uma garota extremamente timída e confusa, sem rumo na vida, sem personalidade, e fingindo a todo momento estar bem. Ou melhor, ela acreditava estar bem. Depois de um sermão de Eren, foi o ponta pé inicial para ela se tornar uma personagem tão grandiosa no universo da obra. O fato dela lidar com as responsabilidades de um jeito tão suave, para alguém da idade dela, é admirável. O fato de nunca ter tido uma paternidade próxima, o fato de não saber como é a briga de um pai com o filho, de um abraço, faz Historia uma personagem muito delicada e quando você aglomera tudo isso e assiste a cena dela dando o golpe fatal em seu próprio pai, e ela simulando como uma "briga de pai e filho" é impossível você não sentir orgulho da pessoa em que ela está se tornando. Sem dúvidas, a Historia é o destaque da temporada. >O que há de errado em não ser especial? Também, é dito que o Pai de Erwin foi morto no passado pelo governo por questionar sobre a verdade da humanidade. O pai de Erwin, um professor, tinha dito que nos livros de história que o governo distribuia para a população, existiam muitas contradições. E também tem a forte teoria de que a família real apagou as memórias da população. Erwin é acusado da morte de Dimo Reeves, e junto com ele, muitos do Reconhecimento são presos. Mikasa fica pensativa. Em uma reunião do governo, parece que o próprio governo não sabem que Historia Reiss é da família real e sobre Rod. Então faz sentido o Rod Reiss ter escondido suas identidades até de Kenny, e ter "poupado" e pedido para não matar Historia; __Pretendem executar Erwin Smith, para conseguir manter os segredos e "proteger a paz" dentro das muralhas.__ OPINIÃO: Acredito que realmente quem sabe que os Reiss são descentendes de Fritz são apenas a Igreja e os fíéis. Logo depois, aparece uma mulher e diz para todos que a Muralha Rose foi atacada pelo Blindado e Colossal. Pixis fala para trilharem uma rota de evacuação para Sina. Porém, os "conselheiros" do "rei", dizem que não haverá evacuação, e sim fechamento dos portões da Muralha Sina. E é totalmente contraditório, pois, eles tavam acusando Erwin de infringir uma lei que afetaria a sobrevivência da humanidade, porém, se fechassem mesmo os portões de Sina e os moradores de Rose não conseguissem evacuar, praticamente metade da humanidade morreria, então, fica óbvio as intenções dos conselheiros para todos e a contradição que cometeram. Mas na verdade era tudo um falso alarme, para sim... __O governo sofrer um golpe de estado da Guarnição.__ E prenderem os Policiais Militares. Também, é revelado para o povo sobre o Rei falso. E prometem colocar alguém de sangue real no trono para os jornalistas. __O Reconhecimento é livre novamente, e não precisam mais viverem escondidos.__ Erwin diz para Zachary que a humanidade não errou completamente em ter confiado no governo. De alguma forma, eles conseguiram fazer que a humanidade não tenha sido extinta por anos. __Erwin diz que talvez seria melhor ver metade da população morrer, do que a extinção completa da humanidade. Talvez, abandonando Eren, todos seu companheiros, sua vida e seu dever e confiando no governo, seria um caminho melhor.__ E também diz que talvez a humanidade seja mais importante que uma única vida. (Acho que se referindo ao Eren). Zachary diz que o Erwin no final colocou sua própria vida em primeiro lugar. Erwin diz que ele seria muito convencido se pensasse isso. Zachary pergunta o motivo. Erwin diz __"Acontece... que eu tenho um sonho desde a minha infância"__ e mostra o flashback do pai dele, na sala de aula. Minha interpretação é que: O Erwin quer ser igual o próprio pai. Poder dizer sobre a verdade da humanidade para toda a população sem ter que ser silenciado, ou também tem a hipótese dele ter um sonho de ser um professor no futuro (?). Bom, são minhas únicas interpretações. Hange Zoe em uma conversa com o Reconhecimento, comenta que há cinco anos atrás ocorreu uma tragédia na Família Reiss. Durante a queda da Muralha Maria, bandidos que estavam passando pela região, atearam fogo no alojamento onde toda a família estava rezando. __Todos morreram, inclusive "Frieda Reiss".__ O único sobrevivente foi o Rod Reiss. E isso foi dias antes dele ir visitar a Historia que vivia afastada da família, e a mãe dela ser morta. Hange diz que precisa ter algum motivo especifíco para Rod Reiss ter procurado sua filha por todo esse tempo logo após todos morrerem. Levi teoriza que deve ser algo relacionado ao sangue. Hange diz que a capela nova que Rod Reiss construiu é o lugar mais suspeito, e é para lá que eles estão indo averiguar. Eren aparenta estar acorrentado em um lugar de gelo. E se voltarmos um pouco, na metade do episódio em um frame especifíco mostra __"Capela subterrânea: Local onde o poder da nobreza é transmitido. Rod Reiss nos conta uma nova versão da história sobre como todos da família morreram pra Historia. __Ele diz que foi Grisha Yeager, nessa mesma capela subterrânea, Grisha invadiu com seu Titã de Ataque e engoliu Frieda Reiss, que tinha a posse do Titã Primordial.__ E assassinou todos da família, __até mesmo crianças.__ O episódio também centra o foco nos Ackermans. os Ackermans sempre foram os guerreiros do Rei, porém junto com os orientais, se rebelaram, e por isso são perseguidos. Pelo visto, Kenny queria o poder dos titãs pois aparenta ficar indignado quando Rod diz que apenas quem é de sangue real tem o verdadeiro potencial do poder. Mas, ele se cansa do teatro de Rod e faz uma proposta: Transforme a Historia, se ela ganhar haverá sua paz. Se Eren vencer, a situação não muda. Mas Eren não quis se transformar e se deixar ser devorado por Historia, após lembrar que tudo é culpa do Grisha. Se Grisha não tivesse atrapalhado a sucessão de Frieda à 5 anos atrás, os Reiss teriam acabado com os Titãs. Mas Historia se questiona o motivo dos Reiss não terem feito isso, sendo que tiveram 100 anos para acabar com os Titãs. __Rod explica que o primeiro monarca Reiss construiu as muralhas e queriam que fossem controlados pelos Titãs.__ O primeiro rei acreditava que esse era o caminho pela paz. Mas ele não entende o motivo. Apenas quem herda as memórias sabe. __Historia se nega e quebra o frasco pois quer uma vida de que ela se orgulhe. Rod Reiss está se encaminhando para o distrito Orvud, não sabemos o motivo. __O Reconhecimento chega na conclusão que todos da Família Reiss que descendem o poder do Fundador, acabam herdando a vontade do primeiro monarca.__ Cogitam em sacrificar Eren e tentar fazer uma lavagem cerebral no Rod Reiss para poder usar o verdadeiro potencial e salvar a humanidade, porém Historia diz que esse plano tem diversas falhas. Levi diz para Historia que ela será o novo rosto da população. __A Rainha.__ E ela aceita, sem hesitar. As partes do titã explodido prestes a cair pela cidade, o Reconhecimento vai cortando pedaços, pelo o que parece, __Historia corta um dos pedaços mais importantes do Titã. E é muito simbólico para ela esse momento, pois, é a primeira briga de pai e filho que ela teve em toda sua vida.__ No final, Kenny é o único sobrevivente de seus companheiros, e Levi o encontra desamparado. Kenny está repleto de queimaduras e machucados, porém, com uma injeção. Ele percebia que aquele poder era algo fora do normal. Uri decide não puni-lo, pois sabe o quanto os Ackermans foram perseguidos por causa do nome dos Reiss. __E diz que seu ódio é justificável.__ E essa atitude mexe com Kenny e decide ajudá-lo. No próximo conselho, o Kenny se torna o novo cão de guarda do Rei. E faz com que a perseguição dos Ackermans acabe. Kenny, volta no submundo para visitar a irmã, Kuchel. Porém, quando chega em sua casa, vê uma mulher morta por passar tanta fome. __E vê Levi, um garoto prestes a morrer e passar pelo mesmo destino;__ Kenny decide criá-lo e ensinar o básico para se viver no submundo, sem revelar sua relação familiar. Kenny também fez parte da Igreja, que também sabiam a verdade das muralhas, como o pastor Nick. Depois de uma brava luta de Levi, Kenny decide ir embora. Em algum momento, Uri diz para Kenny que está prestes a repassar seu poder. Kenny fica até decepcionado dizendo que não esperava que tal monstro morreria tão fácil. Uri diz que ele continuará vivo na memória dos posteriores. Uri diz que não acredita que a violência possa resolver tudo. Quando o poder foi repassado para Frieda Reiss, ela olha diretamente para Kenny como se conhecesse. Kenny fica incrédulo e pensa: Todos que recebem esse poder ficam tão bons e amavéis assim? E esse foi o gatilho para o plano a seguir: __Kenny é convidado para ser o mentor de um controle da Polícia Militar do interior, mas, na verdade seu plano sempre foi: Ter o poder necessário para derrotar um Deus.__ O Titã Fundador. Então em um bar, ele ensina tudo o que sabe, __a desigualdade monetária, os problemas internos, e tudo mais de dentro das muralhas.__ Grisha também diz que quem é do Reconhecimento, certamente é um escolhido. É nesse bar que Grisha conhece Carla. Em um certo dia, começou uma peste por toda a cidade. Carla tinha ficado doente, seus pais, e afetou a população inteira. Grisha Yeager foi o grande herói e salvou a população da extinção. Nesse mesmo tempo, Keith tinha se tornado comandante da divisão de reconhecimento, porém, não fizeram a mesma cerimônia. Em um dia, muitos dos homens de Keith morreram na expedição do Reconhecimento. Carla estava entre os cívis, e com Eren no colo, __Carla questiona a Keith se ele continuará nesse destino até morrer. Keith, mostra uma frustração incomum. Depois, diz para Erwin suceder como comandante.__ Na queda da Muralha Maria, Grisha Yeager aparece e grita por Keith. E então se reunem em um lugar com o Eren. Keith questiona Grisha o motivo dele não se vingar pela Carla, e querer que o filho faça isso por ele. Grisha diz Eren não é como ele, ele é seu filho. __Depois de um trovão na floresta, Keith encontra Eren.
