The story is set in Okoya Forest, a Pokémon paradise protected by strict rules that forbid outsiders
from setting foot inside. The film centers on Coco, a boy who was raised by Pokémon and also considers
himself as one, treating the Mythical Pokémon Zarude as his father. Ash and Pikachu encounter Coco
during an adventure. The film focuses on the theme of a "human raised by Pokémon," instead of the
previous films' focus of the "bond between a human trainer and their Pokémon."

I recently watched the movie Pocket Monsters: Coco and i wanted to share my thoughts on it as someone who has watched almost every Pokemon movie i clearly have my favorites and this is one of them spoilers ahead also sorry if i am not good at this ~!Story A young human boy named Coco is raised by a Pokemon named Zarude after being rescued by Satoshi Coco wakes up in the Pokemon center for the first time Coco learns about humans good humans and bad humans Coco later finds out about his human parents and that a man named Zed is planning to destroy the forest in a attempt to prove his experiments are right Characters Pokemon has always had good characters and that hasn't really changed throughout the years sure there are annoying characters in Pokemon but all the main characters i have enjoyed minus Musashi but i have seen some positive sides to her character unlike most Pokemon movies Satoshi doesn't have any travel companions in this movie unless you count Pikachu heck Satoshi doesn't call out any Pokemon out of their Monster Balls now you might think what about Zed isn't he a annoying character in this movie i would say no he isn't i am definitely against what he is trying to do but there is a difference between villains and annoying villains Zed is just another villain one thing that i did find strange is when the scientist were destroying the forest they were clueless as to why the Zarude were angry Soundtrack Normally except for the opening and ending the music is something i tend to not focus on it but this movie has so many great songs Show Window is a insert song that is very upbeat song that gets you in a happy mood the opening song Coco by Beverly is a soft but adventurous song the ending song Fushigi na Fushigi na Ikimono by Taiiku Okazaki and Tortoise Matsumoto is a peaceful song and very calming it also has a message a lot of parents can relate too at least i think it does but i am not a dad so i can't say for sure 100% on that the music in this movie is amazing there is also a song for the Zarude at the beginning of this movie that gives the impression that Zarude are the kings of the forest but the way this song sounds at the end of the movie sounds very different the Zarude learn that all the Pokemon living in the forest are important Animation I am just going to say it's amazing when i watch anime i am more focused on the story and characters so i don't really notice how good or bad animation is Enjoyment Very high watching Coco a boy who has never known about humans interact with other humans was very fun the story and characters are great Message to viewers This movie presents a beautiful message about helping the environment after all the damage that Zed caused to the forest humans and Pokemon work together to plant trees and help restore the forest i love how beautiful it is i love looking at trees outside the sunlight reflecting off the water nature is amazing this movie also has a message about what makes a parent Zarude took Coco in raised him but Zarude himself is unsure if he has been a good dad to Coco seeing this explored was very nice Final Thoughts Overall i think this movie is amazing it has great characters great story line and positive messages and amazing music for years now my favorite Pokemon movie has been Pokemon Best Wishes: Kyurem VS Seikenshi but now i am not sure what my favorite Pokemon movie is!~
