Naruto: Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto. The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as he has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki.

___WARNING: THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW, AND A LOT OF ME SWEARING AT PIERROT.___ Welcome to my review of Naruto Shippuden. Studio Pierrot seems to love to take the piss a lot. Oh God, here we go. __Story: 6.5__ The story within Shippuden was great at first, we saw how Naruto struggled after his training with Akatsuki running after him, and how they screwed over other ninjas. We saw some great battles, and we got to see Naruto grow from that overly confident shouting child to someone more serious. We saw Pain in all of his glory, and the great story that unfolded.!Then the war happened, and if I'm going to be honest, the story started acting like an alcoholic. It swayed and swayed, and sometimes completely crashed, but eve ry once in awhile, it wou'ld regain its posture to only go back to puking. It seems that Kishimoto as many people said ran out of interesting ideas. There are some squeezed into the story, awkwardly standing in place with all this mediocre writing, like when Guy faced off against Madara. OH NO, WE CAN'T HAVE A SUPPORTING CHARACTER KILL THE MAIN BAD GUY, THAT'S STUPID, WE NEED NARUTO TO ASSUME AN EVEN GREATER FORM AND DRAG THE STORY OUT EVEN FURTHER THAN IT'S SUPPOSED TO GO. Most of the arcs before the war are great or good, watch them. __Visuals: 5__ I think this is one of the main reasons why Pierrot is taking the piss. Now I know that there is a budget when you make an anime, and you don't want to spend past the assigned budget. BUT COULD AT LEAST SET A STANDARD STYLE OF ANIMATION YOU CAN GO BACK TO AFTER THE GREAT ANIMATION PLEASE. The animation in this show is varied so much, one arc could look like total turds, and then the next could be all glittery and nice. One of the best animated arcs was the Summit Arc, but some of the worst animation I've ever seen came from Pain V Kyuubi Naruto. It was all over the place, and some of it looked like children colored it. I have also noticed a lack of somewhat decent shading, and characters not moving at all for two minutes because one of the animators was a lazy pile of crap who didn't care. They sometimes use basic effects, they reuse flashbacks constantly, and when good animation does happen, you barely even notice since you stopped caring a while ago. __Sound: 7.5__ The voice actors for Shippuden are fine, I like them all. The problem I have is the music. The original Naruto had some pretty great tracks, and I would JAM to them. Shippuden reuses music so much to the point where I want to face desk until I'm mortally wounded. IS SOMETHING SUSPENSEFUL HAPPENING? PLAY THE "SUSPENSEFUL SHIT IS HAPPENING" TRACK FOR THE SEVEN HUNDREDTH TIME. The music is also quite simple and unmemorable at times, they are like forced down Lima beans. A lot of the opening and ending tracks are great, but there is one that is so bad. I am talking about Totsugeki Rock. Just, why? Why would you choose this song Pierrot? __Characters: 5.5__ Honestly, everyone hates Sakura. SHE IS SO FUCKING USELESS. "Naruto, I love you." FUCK OFF SAKURA AND DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE. Sasuke is turned into a terrible character. "Even though my brother saved the village and risked his life and spared mine, my hormones will command me to destroy Konoha and join Akatsuki! I'm so smart!" GGGAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH I liked Jiraiya a lot, and the arc where Jiraiya dies will be one of my favorite arcs ever in Shippuden. I also liked Asuma, but he died, so shit. I also like the character of Shikamaru, but the war ruins his character for me. Gaara is a nice character, but he was only really developed in the original Naruto. Guy, now Guy, lemme tell ya, Guy is one of my favorite characters. I liked the story of his past, and GOD DAMN THAT FIGHT AGAINST MADARA. Naruto himself is greatly developed, but you see Kishimoto make him act stupid at times, which is frustrating. A FUCKING REVERSE HAREM, YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME KISHIMOTO, I'LL BREAK YOUR LEGS MAN. __Enjoyment: 3__ Any enjoyment you had in watching this series will be bitch slapped away by filler. I want to see a CANON episode, but Pierrot is like, "Enjoy this mediocre piece of shit filler episode!" Madara just opened the Eternal Tsukiyomi, and we get SEVENTEEN WEEKS OF FUCKING FILLER. THIS IS WHY SO MANY PEOPLE DROPPED THIS SHOW, AND WHY I COULD EVEN GIVE LESS OF A SHIT ANYMORE. PIERROT IS TAKING THE PISS SO HARD. SO HARD. NO, I DON'T WANT TO WATCH SASUKE BE A PART OF THE FUCKING LEAF POLICE FORCE YOU PILES OF DONKEY SHIT. ANIMATE CANON EPISODES, THE MANGA HAS FUCKING ENDED. __Overall: 5.5__ Naruto Shippuden is a show that was once good that was destroyed by uncreative writing, boring and unlikeable character s, constant streams of mediocre filler, overused music tracks, varying changes in animation and art, and peeks of good content slapped away by cliche and stupid writing by Kishimoto who just wanted to end the series. I do highly recommend watching up to the Summit Arc, and then switching over to the manga so you can end it faster. Also, watch Guy V Madara!, only thing you should watch during the war, even if cliche writing tarnished it a little.

Ah, Naruto. The anime adaptation of Masashi Kishimoto's long running shounen manga finally ends (though on the backend of some light novel adaptations and only a couple of weeks before the anime original Boruto anime starts, but I digress.) Busting into the 2000s alongside One Piece and Bleach as one of the Big 3, Naruto has been a phenomenon in the anime industry as one of the best selling manga of all time, and one of the exceptionally long running shows in the mainstream, ending at a total of 720 episodes. Now, it's hard to talk about Naruto critically without offending anyone. On one hand you have it's diehard fans who cannot bear to fault it for anything, and on the other hand you might have some naysayers who will claim that it has no merit whatsoever. I may be conveniently generalizing but I think there is certainly some dissonance between people who love it and people who think it's just absolute trash. I personally did not grow up with it like I did Dragon Ball for example, so there is no nostalgia factor for me. I started watching it when I was 18, so I can't look at it and feel a magic that I felt from when I was younger, however I do understand the sentiment. Discovering a massive, bulky fictional universe with an enormous amount of characters is one of the most exciting things for a kid, and if Naruto has anything it's a bountiful amount of characters and worldbuilding, which does stir up the "kid" in me since I love both of those things. However I can understand the other side who can't ignore a lot of Naruto's flaws. Specifically starting with the story of Naruto Shippuden, since it's like an anime branding sequel to Naruto (like how Z was to the original Dragon Ball), if you ignore the ridiculous amount of filler between the last arc in the original Naruto anime (Sasuke Retrieval) and the beginning of Shippuden, it started out bombastically. The biggest thing I will give Naruto Shippuden credit for is that, aside from filler, episodes 1-175 were incredibly well-paced and about as tightly adapted as you could possibly make that portion of the series. It is by far the best part of the anime and it has most of it's best moments within this timeframe. I don't really think any of it's contemporaries have matched the quality of that stretch either. Now from the start of the Five Kage Summit (sigh) and onwards, Naruto Shippuden really goes through a 250 episode stretch of abhorrent mediocrity, if it wasn't filler at the time. Although Five Kage Summit has some good moments, it's when it gets to The Fourth Shinobi World War Arc where the rest of the show falls flat. This arc is laughably bad for many reasons, but on a fundamental level this arc was already awfully drawn out in the manga. You couple that with the anime studio grasping for straws to draw things out either with excessive monologuing or flashbacks so they could schedule their semi-decent key animators to work on cuts that fans actually cared about or just outright throwing fillers in the middle of nowhere. There is also the fact that their A-team who made the beginning of Shippuden so great were busy working on Naruto: The Last and Boruto: Naruto the Movie for most of the duration of this story arc in the anime (which are both very well animated movies by the way if you haven't watched them yet). I could go on and on about how awful this arc is, about how a "Naruto Kai" couldn't even redeem it, or how it makes the entirety of the Naruto anime unrecommendable to someone who hasn't started it, but I will leave it at that. For characters, there's not much going on here. I will say that the anime is better than the manga at executing emotional moments between characters, which is the real strength of Naruto's characterizations. Naruto definitely has a plethora of characters, and they definitely go through "development", as in a lot of things happen that don't happen to the average 13-26 episode anime character. You have like a baker's dozen or so of characters who go through hundreds and hundreds of episodes full of development. That is a double edged sword, on one hand they are defined well. You could leave Naruto, pick it up a year or two later and you don't really need to explore their character again (if not for a lack of caring). That being said this extensive amount of development will turn a lot of people away, since you have this "quality vs. quantity" factor, a lot of people will say that you should be able to execute worthwhile character writing in a much shorter amount of time, and that is definitely a fair argument. If you strip the well done emotional execution of particular moments throughout the series, and put the characters on paper, there's not much going for me. On a thematic level, Naruto is back and forth on a lot of things. It definitely lacks subtlety for it's messages, since its a long running manga it has the liberty of spelling everything out for you. Kishimoto is definitely a sentimental writer, who has a lot of ideals about politics and family, etc. There are questionable decisions however. ~!For example, he sets up Naruto as an underdog character. He is bullied and his whole town is against him as a child because he has the fox demon who ravaged the village when he was born sealed inside him. You fast forward to the ending of Shippuden and he is practically a Messianic figure. You have an underdog character who was born with the talent for greatness, it defeats the whole purpose of an underdog story. How are people who identify as an underdog supposed to identify with the Messianic Naruto?!~ Not for a lack of trying, the anime does nail thematic execution, albeit rarely. Probably my favorite moment in particular was the backstory explaining how Naruto was born. I don't really think you can claim that Naruto is without merit if you don't at least get to this part of the story, because it's beautiful and well done. Artstyle, I wouldn't say it's anything special. The characters are definitely defined by design, and starting with Shippuden the animation character designs are appealing and consistent, especially for the challenge that is long running anime. This is something Pierrot has excelled at in comparison to its biggest competitor, Toei Animation. Though this crashes again during the last arc, up until the last 20 episodes or so. Naruto can be misleading when it comes to it's OPs, if you've seen any of them (most famously OP 17 / Silouhette by KANA-BOOM, if you haven't seen it stop reading this and go watch that right now) they are incredibly stylized with beautiful palette choices. If you watch the actual show, the colors are very boring. There are moments in the first part of series that I talked about earlier that does some good things with artstyle, especially scenery. I really love the way fight scenes looked in Amegakure, the directing used the gloomy aesthetic and atmosphere to it's advantage. Though it might come to the surprise at some, animation is another strong point of Naruto... for the most part. There are definitely some 'meme-betweens' as I like to call them (Sasuke's "I CAN SEE YOU!" or Pain's "My pain is greater than yours!"), but Naruto Shippuden's peaks are surprisingly high quality for a long-running shounen. There is a lot of material for people who are foaming at the teet for sakuga. Again, this quality leaves for the majority for the second half of the show, though there are a handful of incredible fight scenes as well. ~!The Naruto vs. Sasuke fight towards the end of the series is honestly one of the best directed and well animated fight scenes in the history of TV anime. !~ The biggest merit I have for Naruto Shippuden is definitely the music. There are some absolutely iconic anime OSTs on this series, such as Heaven-Shaking Event, Sengunbanba, Shitsui, to name a few. There are so many though and they are used well for sure. If there's a flaw, in the soundtrack, I'd stretch to say that I wish Yasuharu Takanashi made more music to keep the show fresher, then again not much could redeem the second half. If you scrolled down just to see my rating, you're probably wondering "isn't it a waste of time to spend hundreds and hundreds of episodes and rate it that low"? That's a good question. I enjoy anime. When I say there is a lot I don't like about Naruto, I enjoy the process of disecting what I don't like about it, though the things I do like are just as much there. The amount of pros and cons are balanced, whenever I see that happen I think "average" or "mediocre". Though there are moments of Naruto Shippuden that I think are good, or great even. It managed to execute several cathartic, gripping scenes. It's just that the "dragged-out-ness", the excessiveness ruins a lot of that. Though I did enjoy watching it, for all it's faults, I leave it with a

------------------------------------- Naruto Shippuden : Review | ------------------------------------- Naruto. The series that sold over 220 million manga copies, winning handful of awards along the way. An anime that ranked as one of the most watched series in Japan that got tarnished by a greedy studio and has received tons of internet backlash throughout the years. Let me start off by saying Naruto is by no means a flawless anime. It's the exact opposite. The series had too many fillers. Sometimes the animation quality was below par and pacing can be painfully slow at times. But please bear with me here. I'm going to tell you why it has been the best experience an anime gave me in my entire life and dig into what made the series popular and also its flaws. ----------- Story - 8 ----------- The story of Naruto has been a mixed bag. While it's not bad, it's certainly no Berserk. But what it is, is beautiful (probably not the word that can be often used to describe a shounen anime), but it really is. It's unpredictable, it's thrilling, it plays with your emotions, it's funny, it's tragic, it's sometimes downright frustrating but it is, more than anything, wondrous and fun while being able to take itself seriously when it needs to. It starts off where the first part of Naruto ended and the very first scenes gives us a sneak peak of things to come. The series eases you back into the world of Naruto with a slow paced , almost SOL like first few episodes. And the story then on is presented in a collection of long well constructed story arcs with the bigger picture stories of Sasuke and the Akatsuki being told parallelly till a certain point. Down the line this is series deals with more mature themes and darker tones and manage to execute well on most of those themes if not all. The story is mainly hampered (not ruined) by fillers and pacing issues which I will discuss below. Let's start with the filler. The amount of filler in this show is staggering. It counts as 219 total filler episodes which make up 44% of the series as a whole. The issues that lies within the filler episodes is that they are not allowed to make any significant changes to the story or specifically its characters. This being a mainly character driven plot, this becomes a huge issue because any significant event in fillers could affect the characters so they can't move ahead the plot line at all. So mostly what we get is poorly written mini-arcs and episodes that don’t affect any of the characters or the world in any significant way. This is worsened by the below par writing for these filler episode as they are not written by the original author Masashi Kishimoto himself. However, there are exceptions for this. Some of the filler episodes can be genuinely enjoyable but those are few and far between. The fact that filler can't move the plot along fuels the second big flaw. Which is, Pacing Issues. Aside from what I've said above, even some of the non-filler episodes are very slow paced. This is mainly only an issue at the start of the series. If you're into characters chilling down and wasting a lot of time, this may sit well with you. But even then some of these episodes might be below par for your taste. Once the series kicks it into high gear around 70th episode, it mostly manages to keep that pace up. Now that we got the flaws out of the way, let's talk positives. The main strength of the series is its characters, who drive the plot (which we will discuss in detail later). After the first 70 episodes, things begin to get lot more interesting really fast. The world of shinobi gets expanded exponentially, and if you're a fan of deep lore in stories, this will fit right in your wheel house because it begins to explore the roots of the world and its history very deeply. Another thing that this series does very well is explaining its core concepts to the viewer. The techniques that characters use and how the things in shinobi world works are explained in detail. Also, the concept of Chakra and what a versatile and detailed power system it is compared to other shounen series really stands out. The amount of themes explored in the series are vast. It explores all the basic themes of a typical shounen and as it goes on it delves into themes such as the nature of humans, self sacrifice, discrimination, manipulation, roots of war and peace, difference of perceptions, the line between good and evil, and alienation. It manages to deal with all these themes without abandoning the shounen type feel or becoming pretentious. Something that the author, Kishimoto, really excels at is setting up events. For example, during the early episodes of Naruto (the prequel to this show), he has already started setting up major events that happened in the last of episodes of Shippuden. In the beginning, we look over these little details and minor events and have no idea that they are going to have such an impact later in the series, and when it all comes together in the end, you feel so satisfied. Most of the times these events and twists will take you by surprise and maybe you'll have fun trying to figure out them before they happen as Kishimoto drops clues for you to pick up throughout the entire series. Same thing applies to the moments that tug at your heartstrings , they feel genuine because how the story builds up to those moments. Being a battle shounen ,of course there are going to be battles, and this is one area that the series really shines. As I see it , battles can be broken down into three different segments in this anime , The battle of wits , The battle of ideologies , The physical battle. All three come in union to make some memorable and truly great moments. Each characters ideologies and philosophies gets tested time and time again by their opponents and we can see even the main character himself doubt his ideologies towards the end. When we see someone gets broken inside as well as the outside it's devastating to watch. To put it blatantly, Naruto has the best combat scenes I've ever witnessed in an anime. I have to mention that this style of combat is heavily inspired by Hunter x Hunter. Kishimoto does a fantastic job putting emotions into its battle scenes which are backed up by gorgeous animations (at times, we'll get to that later) and a mesmerizing soundtrack, and with these combined it really sets up fantastic visual storytelling through combat. Kishimoto does an excellent job at setting up the events leading up to the fight to make it feel all the more personal and these battles often comes down to which character outwits the other rather than who can punch harder. This makes characters like Shikamaru Nara who have very little ability make a huge impact in the series. Variety of the fighting styles is massive, ranging from intimate hand to hand style combats, tactical combats, long range jutsu battles, and most often a mix of all of these! The last arc of the series has been very controversial as the constant change of antagonists has irritated some of the viewers. But in all honesty, all of the antagonists that presented had different motives that drove them to do what they do and distinctively different from each other which made them very enjoyable. That being said, the final part of the war arc was really disappointing as the final villain of the series is the worst character that the series had to offer as the villain had almost no personality and motives were shaky at best. Without spoiling anything all I can say is that decisions taken during the last war arc felt like it was done to unnecessarily prolong the final battle and messed it up with a poorly written villain and bad story decisions. But the final episodes after the War arc manages to reign it all in and give a proper farewell to the series it so richly deserves. Throughout the series you will witness friends become foes, foes become friends, unlikely alliances formed and broken, that precious character you loved die, revenge plots, plot twists, characters growing up, politics, romance, and the world itself change. It can be flawed at times but it's a full package and Kishimoto always seemed to have the ending and everything planned out from the very beginning. -------------------- Characters - 10 -------------------- Now this is the core of the franchise. Each character in Naruto is very distinctive from each other. Each has a core motive that drives them, a unique personality, and a specialty in different skill sets. And hats-off to Kishimoto for his brilliant character design as he used a very bright color pallet and made each one very distinctive to make each of them stand out. No matter which kind of characters you prefer, you're sure to find someone here that you can relate to. What the series really does well is making sure that you'll be attached to the characters emotionally. And you will cheer them on as they try to achieve their goals , watch their philosophies and ideologies gets tested , watch them break or prevail and break down crying at their deaths. You will get to see how what's happening around the characters change them , mold them. Witnessing how tragedies that's happening around them having an effect on their psyche is one of the strongest points of Naruto Shippuden. It's fun seeing small character interactions from early episodes grow into full blown relationships. Now let's move on to the "Villains" This series checks all the boxes when it comes to antagonist character archetypes. *Self-Righteous Villain with a God Complex* [checked] , *Money Hungry Villains* [checked] , *Religious Psychopaths* [checked] , *Villain who is after Revenge* [checked]. I think I've made my point there. But what makes this villains so enjoyable is that no one is a villain just for the sake for being a villain. The best kind of villains are the ones you can empathize with, the ones that you feel for and understand them and make you question your own morality, this is something that this series excels at. As same as the main characters, the villains too have core motivation driving them. They have their own beliefs, ideologies and they are willing to fight for what they think is right. You might find yourself cheering on the villains more than the "heroes." The morality here is blurred. But coming back to the war arc, its main flaw is the final villain (which I will not spoil here). Compared with the other villainous characters from the series, the final character is very bland and their motivations are not entirely clear or most likely not relatable to any of the viewers. That being said, this character is only in the series for a very small amount of episodes and the others certainly do more than enough to make up for it. ----------------------------- Art and Animation - 7.5 ----------------------------- Again we have a mixed bag here. This show can look stunning when it wants to, and by stunning I meant big budget movie level of quality. But at times the quality can drop way below par. I think I should specially mention Hiroyuki Yamashita’s work here. He mainly works on battle scenes and this man is a genius when it comes to it. Even though he only worked on a limited number of episodes, his episodes pushes the animation, choreography and stylishness to 11! Despite this I can't give it a higher score because this show is wildly inconsistent with its animation. And as for character designs, we already talked about how Kishimoto made his characters very distinctive and imaginative and how the bright color pallet fuels this. -------------- Sound - 10 -------------- This is an another strong point of the series. Yasuharu Takanashi has made a masterpiece of a soundtrack for this series that manages to highlight the intensity, the tragedies, and the sorrow of each moment. The emotions that Kishimoto wants to portray make it through to us so well because of this soundtrack. It connects us with the world of Naruto Shippuden in a special way. I would recommend listening to tracks like Samidare (Early Summer Rain) to get a taste of what the soundtrack is like. ------------------------------------------------ Enjoyment and Overall Experience - 10 ------------------------------------------------ Naruto Shippuden is more of an experience that needs to be had than just a mere show. It played with our emotions for over a decade and now it has been concluded. The enjoyment of Naruto Shippuden goes beyond just the series itself. This series has a very big community and fanbase that you could interact with. And its lore is so vast that you would never run out of things to discuss about it. Although it has its share of major flaws, this series is a journey that shouldn't be missed if you're fine with the hefty commitment. It's by no means a flawless anime , but it's an anime with highs that more than makes up for it's lows. It reaches for the stars but makes a few tumbles along the way , but the best moments of Naruto are some of the best moments in the medium itself. And with this, I conclude my review for this series that defined a generation. Sub or Dub ? : Sub is recommended --------------------------- | Recommendations | --------------------------- [Naruto] : Yes, the original series. It's essential to watch it before the Shippuden series because it contains a lot of character development and build-up for the Shippuden series. [Fullmetal Alchemist : Brotherhood ] : This series contains most of the things that made Shippuden great such as good character development, good soundtrack, and excellent world building. This series does it in about 70 episodes which is truly a magnificent achievement. If you like Naruto Shippuden, it's a given that you will like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood as well. [Hunter X Hunter (2011)] : A series that greatly inspired Naruto. Both anime feel very similar in style. If the inconsistencies of Naruto bothered you, you'll find a much more consistent pacing and quality of writing here. Whether the highs of Hunter X Hunter matches up to the highs of Shippuden or FMA Brotherhood is up for debate, but you won't have to sit through any lows like you have to endure with Naruto or Naruto Shippuden.

# ~~~Naruto review~~~ I really enjoy Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. One of the good anime I have seen lately. So I understand why some people give a hard time on Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. It has some parts I like some I didn’t like. Note I have not read the mang so. ~!So what is Naruto about? Spoilers. A boy that has lost his parents. End hi is the villager outcast only because of a lot of people died due to his birts. He got one part of the nine tail fox. During the anime, we will see how hie becomes the villager’s hero. And prove everyone wrong.!~ ~~~img320(https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/f/9b5a8aa6-8030-4237-98cc-167558eb5c32/db4f6z6-b537b058-7bfd-46fb-8a00-f8027bbddd98.gif?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOiIsImlzcyI6InVybjphcHA6Iiwib2JqIjpbW3sicGF0aCI6IlwvZlwvOWI1YThhYTYtODAzMC00MjM3LTk4Y2MtMTY3NTU4ZWI1YzMyXC9kYjRmNno2LWI1MzdiMDU4LTdiZmQtNDZmYi04YTAwLWY4MDI3YmJkZGQ5OC5naWYifV1dLCJhdWQiOlsidXJuOnNlcnZpY2U6ZmlsZS5kb3dubG9hZCJdfQ.QHo3ZwdFsbOwT8z_l6OsIXyOKYsj-wCv88rvBes4-mg)~~~ # ~~~Good things~~~ # ~~~The soundtrack and ost~~~~~~ The soundtrack is amazing. I really feel the sadness. I feel when he wins. When I don’t know whet I when to listen to I put on the ost or Soundtrack. ~~~~~~img320(https://i.pinimg.com/originals/06/da/30/06da301dd4ceb350585799f7f673e2a4.gif)~~~~~~ # ~~~~~~Characters development~~~~~~~~~ Characters development is so good. I admit a cay more to Naruto them when I watch Violet Evergarden. They only to anime I have a cry too. You really the feeling when someone dying how it affects the people related. Some just want to take revenge and don’t cany to get revenge Some just break down like when Jiraiya died Naruto. Naruto was in a deep depression only his friends could help him. Everyone has maybe felt the same sometimes when you lost a family member or someone close to you. It plays a lot on the watcher’s feelings. And Iruka Umino becomes like a father figure to naruto. I think some people find a father figure in people how they don’t have any family contact. # ~~~The world~~~ All the different villages have something interesting to it. Someplace is ikonic like the swing at the school, ramen Ichiraku, and Naruto house. One of my favorites is ending 34 it shows the ramen Ichiraku has been there for every for everything. ~~~img320(https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/cb/7a/f5/cb7af559fc3d880f13f39180d0bfc9e6.gif)~~~ # ~~~The battels~~~ It amazing all I have to side. When they choose when to not have music or not. I found a Youtube video they explain my point. #~~~Bad things~~~ Naruto has a lot of good things but one of the bigs problems only problem for me is the filler episodes and filler arc. I like backstory but if the filler episodes or arc in the middle of another arc it is a problem. I watch the war arc it has some good thing but the biggest problem for me is they from nowhere a filler arc. And how will get in visited in the fight if start a filler arc or episodes. You place the filler arc or episodes between two big arcs, not in the middle of a big arc. A lot of anime which is not 720 episodes(Naruto and Naruto Shippūden) have to don it match better. Like far Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail is only 328 episodes long. And it has the filler arc between two arcs, not in the middle of an arc. But filler arc or episodes may not be that long. So should you watch Naruto? Absolutely. The time we live in right now some people may be stuck indoors. Then you have finished one of the big 3. You don’t have to watch Naruto Next Generations it like a side story. Hopp my English is understandable.

The main as well as the side characters have a core motive that drives them, a unique personality, and a specialty in different abilities and jutsu. Shippuden attaches us to the characters emotionally, as their philosophies and ideologies gets tested. The villains are ones you can empathise with, the ones that you feel for and understand them and make you question your own morality, this is something that this series excels at. The villains have a particular past event, or particular emotions that somewhat humanizes them and redeems them to a strange extent, and we realise that they’re not only ‘evil’ simply because they are. Everyone has their own reasons for their own judgements, and who they are as a whole and that’s what makes each character amazing in their own way. A great example of a well-written character is Itachi Uchiha, a rogue shinobi known for slaughtering his own clan to test the limits of his abilities, sparing no one but his younger brother. In the original Naruto he is portrayed as a ruthless villain, known for eradicating his own clan for the means of testing his own abilities, However in Shippuden, Itachi's true moral values are revealed, representing a character who is damaged by the cruel realties of the shinobi world. In contrast to the original Naruto, Shippuden portrays Itachi as a character which embodies the theme of selflessness and sacrifice. There are many other characters with the same level of complexities as Itachi, and is what brings the depth and meaning to the anime. img3000(https://media0.giphy.com/media/lDmsGbXcCuyOI/giphy.gif) ___ __ANIMATIONS - 7.5__ Shippuuden is a major step up from prequel in regards to visual aspects and animation. It has much more attention for details, and the colour is greatly used to its advantage to display the emotion and tone within each atmosphere. The character designs such as outfits are much better made, along with the colouring and effects which have better animations. The landscapes scenery are beautifully drawn, and sets the stone for its unique world building. Most of the fighting scenes are well-choreographed, and emotional scenes are something I've noticed myself are paid much more attention to. The overall authentic shounen feeling is all over Naruto Shippuuden. img3000(https://media1.giphy.com/media/dVaAhVMJhVoqI/giphy.gif) ___ __SOUNTRACK - 10/10 __ From all the unique elements of Shippuden, the soundtrack is the best I have heard in any anime, it connects us with the world of Naruto Shippuden in a special way. Each and every soundtrack manages to highlight the intensity, the tragedies, and the sorrow of each moment. The OSTs are really something unique and what makes the Naruto series as a whole stand out. Some of the best soundtracks include; Byakuya, Man of the World, Senya and Lonliness. img3000(https://pa1.narvii.com/7785/5502213ae096bc4269566b3e4ab5bb03506b0e81r1-500-250_hq.gif) ___ __PACING - 7/10__ The one major issue I had with Naruto Shippuden was the staggering amount of filler episodes. With a total count of 219 filler episodes, it accounts to about 44% of the series as a whole. With the inclusion of fillers, there cant be any room for significant changes to the story or specifically its characters. This being a mainly character driven plot, this becomes a major issue because any significant event in fillers could affect the characters so they can't move ahead the plot line at all. Therefore, this absurd amount of fillers results in poorly written mini-arcs and episodes that don’t affect any of the characters or the world in any significant way. This is worsened by the below par writing for these filler episode as they are not written by the original author Masashi Kishimoto himself. Leaving that aside, the pacing of the actual story derived from the manga is mediocre. There are many great arcs within Shippuden. Although the bridge between arcs can often fell bland at times, if we can look past that we get an incredible story which makes Naruto what it is today. img3000(https://i.pinimg.com/originals/12/90/2a/12902a631d6c4afd9f75b0b432158954.gif)

(CONTAIN SPOILERS) Naruto undoubtedly marked the childhood of many people and in my case I was growing along with the character. Despite liking the series a lot, it's impossible not to talk about its negative points. Naruto has had problems since the classic, from my point of view Shippuden is where things get even worse. img400(https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/798291340495945752/852624004736352306/75549096376ea66b886fc6229eab83416bae3ec1_s2_n2.jpg) Naruto was a work that always provided me with incredible moments, I think Jiraya's death was one of the things that made me very shaken and sad. The fight between Jiraya and Pain in the rain village is something unforgettable, the level of this episode is magnificent. •Characters Naruto has always had great characters, I always focus fearfully when I want to watch anime with a gigantic cast and that many will not have a pleasant development. Naruto himself is a charismatic character, I think it's impossible for you not to like the character right from the start. All the development he's had during the series is really good. Sakura is a character that most people called her useless and that didn't add anything to the story at all, but I think in Shippuden she is her apex, I mean... she had a good development and not to mention that at the beginning of Shippuden she had a frantic fight with Sasori who was a sensational villain and not to mention the others they had throughout the series. Kakashi has always been one of my favorite characters in the series, for me he always gave the feeling of being something more than a simple Sensei to Naruto, most of the time I always saw him as a real Father to Naruto. To this day I am ecstatic over the fight he had with Pain during Akatsuki's invasion of Konoha. This fight between the two is one of the best things that happened on the show, not only that but there were other good times between him and Guy and all the rivalry that existed between them. I may be talking nonsense, but for me Sasuke's apex was in classic Naruto and Shippuden the character was always one of the few I liked to see in action. •Soundtrack Naruto always had great osts since the classic Naruto, but the apex is in Shippuden which has wonderful openings and endings. Blue Bird is definitely one of the best things I've ever heard. •Animation img400(https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/798291340495945752/852620514098806804/images-7.jpeg) Well, when we talk about animation Naruto was always an anime that had a lot of fights and I think it was quite difficult to keep the animation at a very good pace, the series had a lot of ups and downs and we can even mention the fight between Naruto and Pain where we can see that they had a lot of weird frames. Naruto Shippuden could have become one of the best shounens ever made, I think at a certain point Kishimoto completely lost track of the story. I think everyone was quite frustrated with the Fourth Ninja War, the problem is that the series had a lot of completely useless fillers that were placed in moments that didn't make much sense to be there and that's one of the points that broke the rhythm of the series. I think that until today I still haven't got over Neji's pathetic death, we can't forget that the plot that involves the whole series could have been much better developed.

PROS: __VILLAINS __ Whenever I think of Naruto. The first thing that comes to mind is the several S+ tier Villains in the show. Every one of them has tremendous backstories that add depth and complexity to their character as well as give a reason for the Villainous actions that they partake in. Every legendary villain has to have a good origin story, and Naruto does not fail to produce that. Obito, Itachi, Pain, and Madara are only a few of my favorite antagonists throughout the show but they each offered something unique to the plot. Obito striving for an escape from "hell", Itachi, the most misunderstood character, giving up his family and himself for the sake of his brother and his village. Pain believed the only true road to peace is if the world shared the same pain because where there is light there is darkness, the only way for total salvation is to let the world know pain. Lastly, Madara, wanted to destroy the shinobi world to put an end to pain and suffering. Also he is the most badass and feared Naruto Villain. He most definitely lived up to the hype. Almost forgot to mention that the Akatsuki as a whole is such a legendary Villain group. img(https://i.imgur.com/BEbzFad.gif) __POWER SYSTEM__ Most people think that the Naruto power system is "too simple" or "it loses its meaning throughout the show", but I disagree. Naruto has my favorite power system of all time. Simple? Sure you can say that, but it constantly evolves throughout the show. For example, little did we know that the Sharingan was going to be able to produce god-like abilities down the line. First, we learn about the MS then the EMS, and also the Rinnegan. This is just one example of the constantly evolving power system. Sure, it starts simply explaining the concept of chakra and how it is used to produce elements and in turn create Jutsu. But we later learn that you can combine several elements, we learn about forbidden just, and Keke Genkai, aswell as doujutsu, and genjutsu, as well as my favorite, taijutsu. Each of these categories offers something unique to the table which in turn makes the complexity of Narutos power system truly interesting. Not to mention, hand signs are a nice little touch. img(https://i.imgur.com/3Jk4ALG.gif) img(https://i.imgur.com/Z8ITHJE.jpg) __FIGHTS__ The fights in Naruto are UNMATCHED. The choreography of the main fights is beautiful. Characters can express emotions through the punches they throw. The fight choreography in Naruto tells a story on its own. Sasuke vs. Naruto is one of my favorite fights because it does a good job at telling a story. On one hand, we have Sasuke who gets his power from solitude and loneliness, and on the other, we have Naruto who gets his power from the bonds he has forged. We see Sasuke using lethal attacks trying to annaliate Naruto, and then we see Naruto just purely trying to save Sasuke from walking down his path of solitude. Sasuke's frustration with not being able to cut off naruto is beautifully shown in this fight just by his aggressive movesets as well as his rage at the end of the fight followed by an intense and powerful Chidori activation. Naruto fights are without a doubt the most fun and compelling thing to watch. img(https://i.imgur.com/iJOiiRG.gif) img(https://i.imgur.com/Ih3N1fy.gif) img(https://i.imgur.com/eOgClHE.gif) img(https://i.imgur.com/lvtQZds.gif) __MAIN CAST__ __Naruto__: Easily one of my favorite MCs of all time. Especially in the original Naruto, he was just the funniest and most likable character. It's easy to root for naruto throughout the entire show. Seeing him grow up, go through hardships and eventually get married, and acheive his dream of becoming Hokage is one of the most emotional experiences iv'e ever had watching a shonen anime. img(https://i.imgur.com/f4zqCzb.gif) __Sasuke__: Sasuke is the best-written character in the show. Starting to see him slowly turn into a monster walking down the path of solitude is the most interesting part of his development. Sasuke is my favorite deuteragonist of all time. His final "I lost scene" is easily one of my favorite character conclusions. img(https://i.imgur.com/8vLVOnc.gif) __Kakashi__: What's not to like about Kakashi. He like a father figure in squad 7 and also one of the coldest characters in the show. He is the most idealistic shinobi there is. He also has an amazing, (depressing) backstory that makes me like him even more. img(https://i.imgur.com/ecXe1wf.gif) __Sakura__: Sakura gets too much hate, shes not THAT terrible, but honestly my least favorite main character lol. The others are just way better written and way more intersting to follow. NO HATE THO! img(https://i.imgur.com/tDxLT7b.gif) __OST__ Lastly, the Naruto OST is my favorite out of the big three. It has good battle music, good emotional music, good everything. Some tracks are truly beautiful to listen to. __PLOT__ Naruto has an entertaining and intense plot. I love the transition from Naruto to Naruto Shippuden in that the plot took a dark turn and contains much more mature themes to grow with the Audience. (yes I realize lots of 12yo watches the show) Shippuden contained some of the most emotional moments I've seen in an animated show. This is one of the few shows that has made me cry tears of both joy and sadness. The show knows when to be funny, hype, sad, or whatever. img(https://i.imgur.com/YP6rMJJ.gif) img(https://i.imgur.com/NacyTDA.gif) img(https://i.imgur.com/3asRedw.gif) CONS: __SIDE CHARACTERS__ I think the Side characters in Naruto were amazing in the original series but I feel like they just stopped developing throughout Shippuden. One of the greatest arcs of all time includes the Chunin exams arc and the Sasuke retrieval arc. In both of these arcs, we saw lots of character development and growth from the side characters. Unfortunately in Shippuden, I feel like we kind of lost moments like these. Maybe instead of so much filler, we could have gotten episodes that focus on developing side characters. img(https://i.imgur.com/iCRSVPz.jpg) __PACING__ Pacing is a problem with all-long animes like Naruto so I'm not going to rant too much about it. I also don't like when people complain about filler because it's 2021 and you can skip filler if it bothers you so much. __FEMALE CHARACTERS__ Unfortunatley this show may have some of the most poorly developed female characters. Most of them have to rely on someone else and are useless most of the time. I understand that this is a shonen anime, but I feel like they couldv'e made the female characters more interesting. That being said, I do think that Tsunade and Konan are an exception but I would have liked to see Konan be focused on more before her character arc concluded. But regardless, I think those two are W female characters. img(https://i.imgur.com/CVYlq0O.gif) _FINAL THOUGHTS___ Naruto will forever be one of my favorite shows. It was the first anime series that I watched and it is what got me into watching. It is what made me love shonen anime and has provided me with some of the most enjoyable TV watching experiences. I have never felt so attached to a main cast of characters which is why Im gratful to Boruto because I don't have to say goodbye to them yet lol. Anyways, thats all I have to say about the "goat" of a show, Naruto. img(https://i.imgur.com/aZQrYwr.gif) "ore ha saikou no hokage ni naru"

__~~~NARUTO ANIME FULL REVIEW ~~~__ img7220(https://i.pinimg.com/originals/dc/94/29/dc9429ee734440f5b39d6f2a57791379.gif) After three years of finishing Naruto I finally decided to write a full review of it because why not? because for one, it was my very first anime and two because its goated. but please do note that few things here may not be 100 percent accurate since as I said, it's been sometime since I watched it. and before we get started, I just wanted to address that Naruto is NOT carried by nostalgia. sure it plays a significant part but it's not only that, honestly it's far from that. And yes this is coming from someone who watched it when she was 11 before actually picking it up for real. Now with no further ado let's get to the real part. Naruto is the international popular show/manga thats based off Japan, and pretty much anyone who heard of the word "anime" would know of it. its popularity is deserved not just given. However, truth to be told, Naruto isn't perfect, actually its far from being perfect, and I get it that you by now should know that im not gonna be biased in this review. BUT this doesn't change the fact that Naruto is a goated anime. moving on, this passage is going to contain the following topics that im gonna go through individually to analyze it: 1. __Plot.__ 2. __Main Character.__ 3. __Side Cast.__ 4. __World Building.__ 5. __Power System. __ 6. __Animation and Soundtracks.__ --- ~~~__ PLOT/STORY LINE~~~__ As result of having a tailed beast stored within Naruto, the village grows to hate the orphan and treats him as an outcast, all because they see him as a threat. And for that he develops the dream of becoming the Hokage, solely to gain respect from those who hated on him and so that he can show them that he's no threat. So for this we can say, it's partly about a teenager that works his ass off to reach his gaol. however, obviously it's not only about that. Naruto goes through the trouble to explain deeper themes such as constant ongoing waging wars, and what losses occur from these, families breaking apart, orphans piling up and people losing their homes and food due to the constant injustice the world was going through, great increase in crime, criminals and tyranny. it goes over the importance of responsibilities and the outcomes of abandoning these, the weight of having to sacrifice those who are dear to you for the greater good, how much wonders passion and determination can do for someone even if they were inferior to others. how much hatred and pain can affect others mentally and thus their actions. tragic and heart wrenching backstories. the outcomes of spreading hate or love, and the triumph of being successful after doing your best, or the let down of failure. growing up in different environments with what type of people around and how much it shapes a person up. and not to mention betrayal and stumbling upon hardships. It also explores basic thematic topics such as friendship, semi-adventure, treachery, camaraderie, dreams, immense effort, patriotism, racial tension, unity, and ambitions. However the presence of multiple apparent plot holes brings the story downright, I'm not going to list these since I want to keep this spoiler-free as much as I can, but be aware of these. it goes without saying that plot is easily an 8.2/10. --- ~~~__MAIN CHARCTER~~~__ img8220(https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1_YfCHVXXXXbQXVXXq6xXFXXXG/0093-cartoon-Naruto-Shippuden-poster-frame-white-Uzumaki-Naruto-24x38-Anime-picture.jpg_Q90.jpg_.webp) Naruto Uzumaki is the protagonist of the Anime Naruto, or rather the person who's story is being told, I mean that goes without saying, no? honestly it feels like Naruto was the character to set all the foundation traits of a Shounen MC, its actually impressive how many writers followed this kind of path. I mean Naruto isn't dumb nor smart. [we don't talk academically wise, Naruto is hopeless there], he's so kind and quick for forgiving others, is cheerful, outgoing and oblivious, he has a dream that he sets to achieve no matter what hardships he faces, he goes through hell and heaven for his friends' aid when they're in danger, wether they want his help or not, and he's obsessed with a specific type of food. however, he is really not only that, he's not a happy-go-lucky character as you may think at first glance, hes a more complex and a compelling character, I mean he's SO well-written and is fleshed out pretty well, from his actions to his mindset, it all aligns with his tragic past, way of growing, his type of persona and origin very perfectly. because someone's circumstances is what shapes them up to be who they are, and why they think in a certain way and what types of goals they have. Naruto lived his childhood without knowing who or what he was to deserve to be hated so much, and it even reached to the point where the guy even questioned his existence, its heart breaking, really. the fact that he was an arrogant kid, seeking attention and love says a lot about him, used to pull pranks on others, draw on the hokage statue figures. he did all that so he can get recognized for who he is, not of what's inside of him. what makes this sadder is that he didn't know what was inside him to begin with. Later on, he got lucky, since he finally met someone (Iruka) who cared for him for who he is. and that was a drastic change in his personality and upbringings. Naruto isn't really my favorite character in his show, and is arguably only top 5 for me personally, but we cannot deny that he's so damn interesting. okay moving on, Naruto is at the very least an 8.8/10 protagonist. truly remarkable. ---- __~~~SIDE CAST__~~~ img4220(https://c4.wallpaperflare.com/wallpaper/672/578/501/manga-naruto-shippuuden-uzumaki-naruto-uchiha-sasuke-wallpaper-preview.jpg) Well well the is going to be quite interesting. characters you can love? check! characters you can wish death upon? check! characters you can relate to? hella check! characters you can feel sympathy towards? check! characters to cry over? double check! truth to be told, Naruto has one of the best written characters of all times but thats more exclusive to the main characters, the thing is, the side cast of Naruto aren't really THAT impressive but they're good enough not to mess things up, in the OG Naruto they were so interesting, but in shippuden it felt like they stopped developing, like they had no more to them than what we already were offered and that was disappointing. Kishimoto focused more on the main four, well um honestly, it didn't feel that he focused on Sakura much, but its refreshing how there was a normal character without a depressing backstory, he did great wonders though, he made her way more badass and gave her the development she deserves while y'all were making fun of her. childish. anyways, thats not the issue, I'm not saying all the side cast wasn't focused on, take Shikamaru for example, this guy is undoubtedly one of the best characters out there, he only got more developed and more badass post time skip. there are others too, Gaara, Jirayia, and ITACHI (the king himself, arguably the best written character in Naruto). and personally I enjoyed Minato's character a lot, to the point where hes my favorite character in not only the show, but the entire anime world. moving on, thats all on top of the fact that Naruto offers us badass moments and heroic ones, a great display of emotions, with immense determination, dignity, sacrifices, high and low self esteems, with interesting characters and their different ideologies and ideals, very tragic backstories and insane characters development. Naruto villains are top notch and amazingly well developed, they __mostly__ have logical explanations to their actions and ideals and that all goes back to their past circumstances, exampeles are Gaara, Obito and Pain. however we also have these that are just pure evil and thats basically their only motivation to do messed up things along with their superiority complex. these are also amazing, like wow, being evil just to be evil? honestly I like this trope. examples are Madara and Orochimaru. [this doesn't include Kaguya] and finally, let me add; the Naruto deaths are painfully impactful on the readers/watchers. the way their final moments were portrayed speaks volumes about the high writing level. I will never trust someone who didn't at least cry twice during watching the show. the side cast is a solid 7.8/10 --- __~~~WORLD BUILDING__~~~ img5220(https://i.redd.it/u0w0wbk91kj21.jpg) the world building in Naruto isn't the best out there, but it's better than most if we are being fair. Naruto's world is quite realistic and actually makes some sort of sense. There are the typical facilities that are present in any country, it has multiple governments, with multifaceted goals, motivations, reputations, etc. the system of five big lands with a main village in each that are each other's rivals is interesting, and similar to the idea of the seven continents on earth. each land and village is different from the other, from leaders to different systems of government, traditions, methods of combat and geopolitical landscapes. for example; the cloud village is shaped up to be extraordinary and somewhat fancy, but on the other hand, the stone village is so ordinary that its boring with nothing particularly eye catching. The main village, Konoha, is shaped up amazingly and the concept of the stone faces is so good, it gives another sense of beauty somehow. And each village had its either implied or explored kind of history that it went through at some point and overcome. There are different time periods and eras that we were introduced to, each with different ruling system, costumes and way of living and dealing with power. its quite impressive we had the chance to go over these. Honestly, there's not much to say, but one disadvantage that I can remember from the top of my head is that one of the villages, the sound village I guess, appeared once and was never mentioned again, like it vanished. its not really that important but its a major plot hole. My problem with it personally, though, was that I hoped we could see more of it because u can tell it was thought throughly but never got presented well, Its like Kishimoto wanted to do more with the Naruto-verse but he just didn't have enough time or he only wanted to finish the series. hopefully we see more of it in Boruto. it has so much better potential. world building: 6.9/10 --- ~~~__ POWER SYSTEM~~~__ ~~~__This includes fights, too.__~~~ img4220(https://dailyanimeart.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/susanoo-vs-kurama.jpg?w=1200) so here we come to one of the most shining points of the show. its power system and the fights. from all the Shounens I've watched, Naruto has the best Power System. few of you may argue that Hunter x Hunter's power system is better, which is defiantly not the case, let me remind you: complicity=/better. so as I was saying the Chakra and its building is very extraordinary, its implanted in a way it that it makes so much sense, as it has its advantages and disadvantage on the users. In Naruto, to do any superhuman feat, you need to understand the nature of your chakra in order to developed your usage and manipulation of it, it's not an easy feat and it requires immense training to achieve. it was mentioned before that without the chakra you're merely a normal person, incapable of achieving high feats, unless in rare cases the person's determination allows them to use physical strength as a substitute, but that requires inhuman training to reach the point where you can compete with chakra users toe to toe, and in some cases probably surpass them, only three known characters are able of reaching such state, will go more throughly over it later. so what's exactly this "chakra"? it's the flow of spiritual energy and amalgamation of physical energy, by utilizing and manipulating these, the user is allowed to use any Jutsu (attack) that aligns with their chakra nature. now that we got to the point of the "chakra nature" there are five Chakra types or Nature Releases, fire, water, lighting, earth, and wind. each user has one main type, few people would have a secondary type, in these cases, the person can combine the two nature releases to create Kekkai Genkai, example is Wood Release thats a combination of the earth and water releases. and in VERY rare cases there's a tertiary type a person can posses and combining these three affinities would result in Kekkai Tōta. however, There’s also two other Nature Releases that don’t fit in with the other Releases, Yin and Yang Releases. and for the record, not everyone is capable of manipulating their chakra and in these cases it renders useless. running out of chakra = death. there are three main Jutsus which the abilities branches off from; 1. __Ninjutsu__; the ability to use or create attacks that are so powerful, this usually requires using hands signs. ex. Rasengan and Shidori. 2. __Genjutsu__; the ability to put your enemy into a state of fake reality and hallucinations, where the person who's under it is usually incapable of distinguishing between reality and what not. 3. __Taijutsu__; its the physical ability basically, of punching and kicking, however there's the "eight gates" thats achieved without using chakra, the first gate is the "weakest" while the eighth gate is the "strongest" honestly, its ridiculously powerful and ultimately one of the strongest attacks in the verse but the user dies immediately after it. as I mentioned above only three characters are known for displaying such monstrous raw strength. theres also the special abilities and Jutsu’s that are passed down genetically, and they're basically based off Kekkai Genkai. examples; are the Byakugan and the Sharingan, these are exclusive to specific clans. and do note the concept of the Sharingan, thats exclusive to the Uchiha clan (the most powerful known clan along with the Senjus) is amazingly crazy, it's first unlocked when undergone emotional trauma, and evolves as they experience immense emotions, mainly tragic ones. Sharingan at first enables the user to see a split of a second onto the future, the more tomoe they unlock the longer this duration increases, the maximum is three tomoe. undergoing even worse emotional trauma allows the user to unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan that has special powers that differs from a person to another, and also unlocks a greater power thats common for all mangekyo users is the Sussano. it goes toe to toe with the tailed beasts. okay so now we got to the Tailed beasts part. these are beasts that has a numbers of tails that goes from one tail to nine tails, and have an immense amount of chakra thats basically infinite. the beasts are extremely dangerous to be left alone and thus needs to be sealed within a person called Jinchuriki. the person normally is treated as an outcast for holding such mysterious power within them. if the person successfully befriends them, they can have access to the power and utilizes it better than the beast itself. it becomes such a great power thats unmatched most of the time. theres also the Sage Jutsu, sadly I don't remember much so I won't say anything about it, I dont wanna mess things up. moving on, the fights are OUTSTANDING, seriously nobody can draw fights the way Kishimoto does, they're so thrilling and exciting they'd engross you into them, the movements are not repeated over and over but Kishimoto actually manages to come up with something else every time. giving it a different experience each time. hats off for the fights they're so well done. well, the talk-no-jutsu isn't bad, and is somewhat inspiring, but the thing is its overused and it works most of the time, lowkey it was annoying at some point, but it can be overlooked. 12/10 and you're not allowed to disagree. --- ~~~__ ANIMATION AND SOUNDTRACKS~~~ __ Animation; had it good moments and it had its shitty moments. Soundtracks; unique and exciting. it gives more hype to the fights and emotional moments, that you'd feel the adrenaline rush. fillers: fuck you Pierrot Animation, seriously. Animation: 6.3/10 Soundtracks: 9/10 --- To sum this up, Naruto is utterly and absolutely an outstanding story with many flows that can be overlooked, and the fact remains that everyone needs to experience it at least once in their lives. and since you're here, whoa! thank you for reading! for real! --- Psst, as someone who watched all the fillers, there are actually good ones but the majority are shit, so do yourself a favor and SKIP THEM. you can watch the good ones once you're done with the show. trust me its a great experience when you dont watch the awful ones.

This will be a review of the series as a whole including Shonen Jump! This review was written way back roughly around 2017! I had been watching since around 2011 or 2012 and have rewatched it a lot since! But that being said, these were my thoughts when the show had just finished and aired it's last episode! My opinions of it have most likely changed since then, but I really loved what I wrote for this awesome anime, so please enjoy younger me's thoughts!! --------------- ~~~__HUUUUGE SPOILERS AHEAD__ (obviously) SO BE WARNED! ~~~ I'm writing this through hot tears and the happiest goofiest grin. Naruto has been an anime I'd watch when things were at its worst. It inspired me to create art, it taught me what true friendship was, it taught me so, so, so, so much. Ever since I was 11 or 12 just getting into anime, from that time and even now, I'm so grateful to the creators, and especially to the characters in the anime, for being there for me whenever I needed the boost. How do I say this... This show.... Naruto... has always been there. I've never known a time where I couldn't get on kissanime, or even as far back as animeultima, and watch the young shinobi of the Leaf Village fight and complete their missions, and train and go through all this character development at the same time. I grew up alongside Naruto and I remember how sad I was when I finished the first Naruto Season, or when the dubbed episodes of Shippuden ran out. I remember when I downloaded 40+ episodes to my computer and some to my USB hard drive so that when I went on my month long trip or when I went to the beach, I could binge as many episodes as I wanted to. I remember the hot springs episode and every fight Naruto and the other teams had to persevere through. I especially remember how hard the character deaths hit me in this show. Neji, Jiraiya, Granny Chiyo, even Naruto's mom and dad, just seeing everyone disappear, even knowing them for only a moment, it's like I could feel what Naruto had felt and what his parents felt for him. Naruto's relationship with Sasuke was the heaviest... I remember how upset and angry and confused I was when they found each other mid Shippuden and they fought, and no matter how hard Naruto tried to convince him, it would just never get through to Sasuke. I remember how hard Naruto was fighting himself and his panic attack when he was with Sakura and the team, when they were in the snow. Just seeing how Naruto reacted to all the events around him made me hurt and feel the same way he did. I feel like through all the relationships he's had and all the things he's done, I was there through all of it. At some point it didn't even seem like an anime anymore but something I could actually believe in. All these emotions and relationships and all of his actions. All the sweat and tears and the things he's had to endure through, it's like I felt it and connected with it fully. Like those things had happened to me too. I've never felt this strongly about an anime in my life. Anime that have carried the viewer through HUNDREDS and hundreds of hours of content really stick with you. I think I knew that going into watching Naruto, I was going to get attached... I was going to watch this show and think that it will last me a long time, and that I wouldn't need to worry about it ending like all the other shows I saw. But i think I also knew that at one point I was finally going to finish. I was finally going to have to let go. Finishing this anime makes me feel like I've finally finished a chapter of my life, it feels like I've also lost something. It's left me with years of memories... It's sad to think about how I won't know what it feels like to watch a new Shippuden episode with the old gang anymore and find out how the Great Ninja War progresses... what new jutsu are out there for Naruto and the gang to discover, what bullshit Sasuke would pull next. It's insane but throughout this whole review I haven't even gotten to how all the other characters have impacted me as well, how amazing the animation was, how insanely perfect the plot was. But then again, I don't need to talk about it. Because at the end of the day no matter how much praise I give to this anime, it will never truly show you how blissful the experience was just being there for the journey. Watch Naruto. Watch Naruto Shippuden. Watch the movies. You'll see what I mean. Naruto is one of my favorites. It's been a joyride being alongside the Leaf Village and it's people. And I'm so, so, so fucking happy to have been a part of this and to have the memories of the show that I have now. Please, if anyone's reading this, gift yourself the experience. Give Naruto a shot, you won't regret it. __RATING: 100__

This review is made from a neutral point of view and without spoilers __Story 3/10__ One of the problems, I had with Shippuden is the pacing of the plot and countless numbers of flashbacks that are most of the time totally useless and redundant. Adding the 40% filler percentage and you will get bored most of the time. I highly recommend skipping ALL the fillers. I found the plot a bit confusing sometimes, for example, the reasons Itachi did what he did (no spoilers) are completely far-fetched and have many scriptwriting facilities. Therefore the weakest point of Shippuden is without doubt the last arc. The big war arc is really too long, goes in all directions, and doesn't make any sense. The story is really confusing and we feel that the author no longer masters his subject at all. __Animation 5/10 __ The animation in Shippuden is really average but satisfying. It does the work but doesn't expect it to blow your eyes. The environment is diverse and you will find some magnificent landscapes. Shippuden will make you travel, the different villages are very different and offer a pleasant change of scenery. __Sound 8/10__ One of the strong points of Shippuden is without a doubt its OSTs. Openings, endings, and music are all great and special, unlike any other animes. The voices of the different characters are great, and the actors did a really great job. __Characters 6/10 __ Most of the characters in Naruto are endearing but not all perfectly written. Like Sakura that has no real goals except loving Sasuke which isn't interesting at all. Shippuden has many cool characters such as Naruto or Kisame and you will feel attached to them. __Univers 8/10__ The universe in Shippuden is enormous, vast, and rich filled with legends, tales, and mysteries. Diving into the universe of Shippuden will be a great adventure. __Impact 7/10__ What I like the most about Shippuden is its impact. This anime is touching, and full of emotion reinforced with beautiful music that will not leave you indifferent. You will plunge into all kinds of emotions watching Shippuden, sadness, joy, anger, relief, excitement, fear, satisfaction... __Conclusion __ Naruto Shippuden is decent as it evokes a lot of emotions, and this is why we love it as art. However, the quality of the show remains quite low with several problems. The author seemed to have lost the way, especially with the last arc, which is absolutely terrible. Naruto, the original series with the young Naruto, is much better. But if you're a Naruto fan, you will definitely enjoy Shippuden as well. __Strengths: __ - Great soundtrack - Beginning is great - Kisame and Itachi relationship - Akatsuki __Weaknesses:__ - Too many fillers - The last arc is too long and confusing writing - A lot of useless characters - Some characters from Naruto Kid forgotten (Neji, Lee..) - Itachi story

Gonna start off with the fact that this is my second review and I'm not really good with words. Also might contain spoilers as I'm trying to write this as i remember every thing i loved and hated about Naruto. I'll be honest, my reason for watching Naruto was mainly because of Pain, or Akatsuki in general. Well like everyone else I learned a lot from the memes, amvs and from my friends about this. Also hearing people talking about how they watched Naruto when they were kids made me really jealous, i mean, they got to grow up with this. Not that i couldn't, but my dumbass brain at the time thought otherwise. Welp, that can't be helped so here I am, watching and finishing it now. As i mentioned earlier, my main reason for watching was Akatsuki, so i was always on the lookout for their entry in the show, well not Shippuden, I mean Naruto as a whole. I came to Shippuden with high hopes, mainly because i loved the og Naruto, the theme, the music, the animation, i really enjoyed it. So i came to Shippuden expecting that but a lot better, and i did get that, but not so easily. I could be offending a few peeps and I'm sorry for that, but this is what I felt. Shippuden, upto ep 125 was average, not saying like it's a bad thing, but it didn't have anything that could hype me up. Well saying that just like that is a lie. Okay lemme think, Sakura and Chiyo vs Deidara and the Asuma arc... And i guess the 4 tails form? But.. oh well whatever, but yes, that's it. Couldn't bring anything more for me. That said, everything, like literally everything changed by the end of the 125th ep, well let's just say that, that particular scene, sold me on Shippuden. A show which i lagged for months for the first 124 eps, just became something that i felt like i must watch right now. Lol it was like that tbbt meme where Sheldon said, "I don't need sleep, I need answers" xD. And that for me, marked the start of what I consider, the peak of Naruto, the Pain arc. Thinking back about it now, nothing, not a single other arc could come close to the hype that arc gave me. Chunin exam arc from the og Naruto and parts of war arc came close sure, but it definitely was something else, prior to the main acts, the fights of jiraiya and pain, Itachi and sasuke, well like any other weeb, that made me tear up no cap. I could really say that i wasn't expecting that level of immersion with the series until then. Another thing that I'd like to add is that , I really loved all the senseis that were shown in the series, Starting from Iruka, Kakashi, Jiraiya and various instances of Minato and Hiruzen being sensei asw. I still feel very happy and sad at the same time whenever I see jiraiya and the three, Nagato, Yahiko and Konan together, and especially in that frog outfit, Ngl that was so damn cute Then the main act, Narutos entry in Konoha and the fight with pain, it was noice... Except for that one thing that literally everyone rants about. The most important episode from the entire show that looked somewhat like a diarrhoea patient xD. Well it can't be helped, but i just wanted to rant about it. While I consider Pain Arc as the peak of naruto, there is something that I was really dissatisfied with. The way the arc ended. I mean, i get it, Naruto makes people realise stuff and all, and Nagato understanding it is fine, both of them being Jiraiyas students and all that, it was really nice. But they still shouldn't have pulled that bs at the end. Okay i get it, a lot of important characters were killed off who could never be replaced and was really vital for the story to progress, okay understandable, but I felt like a part of the effect of that incident which led Naruto, ending up as who he was at the end of that arc, was gone, like the whole incident just lost it's value. It's a shounen, people's death affect the mc, that's how he gains power (not the only way, but I'm being sarcastic, so don't mind it.), And if ya take away that... That's, that's wrong... Lol still, won't be enough to change my mind from it being the peak of Naruto. Next part is the War Arc. I was pretty excited for this, i mean i was like that for almost 100 eps by now, but yes, the thought of seeing madara was exciting. I was told that, "the second half of Naruto is all caused by one dude, and that's madara". Imagine someone saying that to ya, well idk about others but i was really curious as to know what and who that guy was. Well, he didn't disappoint. War Arc, for the most part was really good, i liked how they showed the tense war atmosphere, the arrival of more powerful characters and a lot of other twists that came along the way. I swear, everytime they show Itachi, it's pure service for the fans (not the one yer thinking of, but literally). Same goes for Kakashi, man wtf, the supposedly filler arc shows felt more canon than some bs episodes. Like dude, how can this not be canon, it has such and impact and shows how Kakashi came to be how he is now, and also showed how yamato or tenzo was. This and the Itachi dedicated episodes, imo were the best parts of Shippuden after pain arc. And while I'm still in War Arc, it should have ended with Madara as the final villain. Man, like, really, i liked the introduction of kaguya, the origin of chakra, the alien race, the divine tree... Those all are good and all, but they could've done it separately, like maybe as a sequel to Shippuden or something idk. For me it felt like they complicated it a bit too much. Not to mention how they pulled bs with Kakashi getting sharingan again, like bruh, obito is dead and Kakashi is kinda useless at this point, so here u go, obito gonna come back from spirit world and help Kakashi. Waw. Impressive, Very Nice. Welp, can't be helped. I may seem like I'm forgiving this but i was kinda pissed at how they did this at the time i was watching. Oh well... To end with, overall, i enjoyed the show, the animation, the music, although I'd like to say that at times the music was oddly placed, and i can go on with my rant about the music in the first 124 episodes, but that won't be necessary. Other than that, i loved the music, the bg ost at times were well, it felt so perfect. I'd say I didn't like a lot of the Ops and Eds, but a few did stick with me, Tsukino Ookisa by Nogizaka46, Blood Circulator by Asian Kung Fu Generation and Long Kiss Good Bye by Halcali, these were prolly my favorites. Well guess that's it, that's what I felt, when i finished one of the big three, Naruto Shippuden.

When I joined this site, The first review I ever posted was of Naruto but it's extremely outdated now and my vocabulary was limited 7 years ago so I figured its time to delete that one and totally redo it, So here we are. This is going to be a loooong review including my personal thoughts and how it affected me so strap on! This review is for the entire Naruto series, keep that in mind. For most people, the way they got introduced to anime is probably via Dragon ball, Pokémon, Beyblade, Bakugan etc. And while I did watch these shows growing up, no other show stood out to me as much as Naruto. My 12 year old self had no idea what he was watching on Cartoon Network one day but I'm glad I was because from that day onward I developed a sort of affliction towards this series. At that point in time I only saw bits and pieces and random episodes on CN, So my knowledge was vague and I only knew two things that this show is Naruto and he's the main character. Fast forward a couple of months after that point, our local Cartoon network stopped broadcasting Naruto and Dragon ball Z for some odd reason. So I was left puzzled what to do. Now keep in mind, this is early 2010s and 2011. Our household had no Internet, let alone a computer so my only choice was to search my local markets. I scoured and I actually ended up finding Bootleg dvds of Naruto (I didnt know they were bootleg at the time lmao) Bought a ton of those but even then I didnt properly watch the series. Years passed by, I bought my first console (PS2) solely for playing the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Series (True fans know what I'm talking about haha). That game was my life for that period of time. Then after a while, bought an Xbox 360 and played more Naruto games etc. Fast forward to now when its 2015, I made my MAL account and now I had proper internet access and could watch all of Naruto and so I did just that. Then came the time for the war arc of Naruto which had several fillers that it actually ended up making me read the manga for the first time and I read that till the end. Now a few years passed, the anime was actually now at its end and I still remember the day I watched the final episode, Tears flowing from my eyes. It was 2017 and I just graduated from my College and was now preparing for my University entrance exams. I also rewatched multiple scenes and played the games so many times that I felt like I knew the series by heart and Naruto became my profile pic on most online platforms haha (It was a phase). I did rewatch the entire series, including fillers in 2020 all in 35 days non stop hahaha xD. Naruto is the reason why I delved so much into anime and why I now love Anime. I'm proud of the years I spent watching it, almost feels like I grew up with Naruto. This feeling cannot be explained, Its surreal. Now on to the review, Story : One of the best written stories in shounen easily, don't compare this to seinen or other categories because it should be compared with its competitors right? At the time it was competing with Bleach and One piece and they were known as the Big 3. All 3 of these shows are still going on till this day, Boruto counts of course. You will find everything in Naruto's story, romance, melodrama, dark themes, war, politics, abuse, action, super powers, mind games. It literally has every single thing that you can think of and it amazingly portrays the journey of Naruto as an individual through his early life till adulthood. Characters : Boy oh boy, where do we start. Even people who havent watched Naruto are familiar with its characters like Itachi, Kakashi, Sasuke etc. Because of Kishimoto's excellent and charming character designs! Some of the best side characters and antagonist can be found in Naruto. Animation : Studio Pierrot has somewhat managed to maintain a standard of quality throughout all the years when it made Naruto. While the animation has its ups and downs, for the most part it does its job pretty well. Nothing is perfect obviously but I think Studio pierrot did their best with what they had. Voice actors : Stellar cast, Everything gave their hearts and poured their all into their roles. Soundtrack : One of THE BEST soundtracks ever, Sad osts, Happy ost, Banger openings and Endings. I still listen to them to this day while driving my car, the songs and music is that good! Verdict : Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Naruto helped shape an entire generation of Weebs and people like me to whom Naruto became an irreplaceable part of their lives and its the reason why Iam here to today writing this review. Naruto helped shape my personality and I will no doubt show this to my children and partner, If I'm lucky enough! Hehe :) If you're still reading this review then here's a cookie ?. Just go blind and start this journey. Trust me , You wont regret it. This is my longest review since I couldnt find the words to write down properly but I did manage to write atleast some of it! Thank you for reading!
